We have always enjoyed the food, the service and the ambience of this restaurant when visit Minneapolis. The staff always have a smile on their face - a great place for a family get together at a reasonable price. Also, it is my grand daughter's favorite!!

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the twin cities. I usually order to go - my favorites are the quick fried crispy fish filet, milky crispy shrimp, Dan Dan noodles, Szechuan dumplings, soup dumplings and crab delight wontons. If you're a fan of crab Rangoon definitely try those because they're the best around.

Decided to come here for dinner because we were in the mood for some Sichuan food. Since it was a weekday evening, the dining area was very crowded, so we were greeted and seated right away. We ordered the Chung King Chili Chicken (aggressively spiced and a bit dry), Vermicelli with Spicy Minced Pork (soupier than expected), Cumin Lamb (good flavor, a bit dry), Fish Fillet & Tofu in Szechuan Chili Broth (very spicy), Szechuan Green Beans (well-seasoned), and Shredded Potato & Green Peppers (sautéed perfectly). Everything was tasty and satisfied our spicy food cravings. Service was casual but friendly. Parking is super convenient since the restaurant is located in a strip mall connected to a large parking lot.

My wife and I came here for the very first time last weekend because she was craving for Chinese food. The ambiance was quite peaceful since we went prior to dinner time. We ordered a fried noodle dish, spicy wontons, and a mapo tofu. My wife loves noodles, but her and I both agreed that the noodles were lacking in flavor. It wasn't bad, but it could've been better. Our personal favorites had to be the spicy wontons and mapo tofu. The spice level of both dishes were perfect. We both enjoyed it very much. Our server was very nice and attentive towards us. She came to check up on us multiple times and refilled our waters without us even asking. Thank you for the great first experience at this establishment.

One more visit and as always amazing food. Tried chicken curry and fried beans this time and loved them.

Food is always on point here. I love coming here especially during their lunch specials because it's a good price and large portions. I love the light Chinese music playing in the background. Service could be a little better by being more attentive to the customers. One thing to note is if you ask for chili oil on the side you'll get a very very dirty container. Looks like it's never been washed..

I am a MAJOR fan of Sichuan Chinese food. I could eat it every day, I seek it out when I travel, and I cook it at home regularly. But when I moved to Minnesota, I felt like there were very few authentic Sichuan Chinese restaurants in town that were to my standards. Grand Szechuan is the exception. Eating in or taking out, you can't go wrong. The inside is pretty large and has classic Chinese restaurant decor. Service is great and your food comes out super fast. It's so hard to pick the best foods here because I rarely encounter something I dislike: their mapo tofu is EXCEPTIONAL. Seriously amazing depth of flavor and a wonderful texture. Love their cool noodle and Dan Dan noodle dishes, as well as their chengdu wontons, shredded pork with Peking sauce, & the beef with Napa cabbage. Also can't go wrong with a classic - Kung pao chicken! Do yourself a favor and order from the Sichuan menu and not the American menu. Its their specialty and you won't regret it!

Got a huge order for takeout last night. Was ready fast (like freaky fast) which was nice for a Saturday. Highlights: -orange chicken- this usually doesn't travel super well for takeout but it was crispy, hot, sweet and delicious- everything you want in orange chicken. -green beans in black bean sauce- a favorite in our family -chengdu spicy dumplings- so good! Smothered in flavorful chili oil. Nice level of heat. -beef and broccoli: sold basic, everything we wanted. -cream cheese wontons- crispy, hot, filled with cream cheese and not too sweet (I don't like them too sweet) Good but wouldn't order again: bbq pork with pea tips- only ok. Kung pao tofu- it was good and I liked the firm texture of the tofu but it lacked something- maybe flavor? Maybe I wanted it a little saucy? Felt a little bland but maybe because everything else had so much flavor. All told, pleasantly surprised. Would definitely do takeout again.
